The 2008 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival announced its schedule of artists yesterday. This year's Jazzfest presents a full seven days of music for the first time since 2005. The festival takes place April 25 - 27 & May 1 - 4. The program promises to be the deepest and most varied in Jazzfest's 39-year history. Featured artists will include Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint (pictured), Costello's wife Diana Krall, Chick Corea, Dianne Reeves, Irma Thomas, the Rebirth Brass Band and the list goes on. Pop and rock legends like Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow and Billy Joel will be there too. Visit the Web site for a complete day-by-day schedule as well as hotel rooms and special features.
