Kate McGarry's CD Release Party at the Jazz Standard in NYC

Vocalist Kate McGarry will be celebrating her release of "If Less is More...Nothing is Everything" (Palmetto Records) Friday, August 22nd through Sunday, the 24th at the Jazz Standard in Manhattan.

Her new release is a superbly balanced mix of jazz and pop standards, and features great performances by instrumentalists Donny McCaslin, Reuben Rogers, Gary Versace, Keith Ganz, and Clarence Penn. Penn, Ganz, and Versace will join her at the Standard, along with Matt Penman on bass, as well as Peter Eldridge and Jo Lawry on vocals and James Shipp on Percussion.

There are three sets on Friday and Saturday, and two on Sunday. The first set begins at 7:30 all three nights.
