Saxophonist Wayne Shorter will perform a new classical work at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, December 2nd at 8:00 pm.
The Imani Winds quintet will perform "Terra Incognita," Shorter's first composition for a classical ensemble, in the piece's New York premiere.
Shorter will also perform pieces from his jazz repertoire with his cutting edge quartet featuring pianist Danilo Perez, bassist John Pattitucci, and drummer Brian Blade.
