Concert Review: The Gay Disco Trio

The Gay Disco Trio plays intense and exuberant music inspired by free jazz and rock styles. Consisting of saxophonist Andrew D'Angelo, drummer Jim Black, and bassist Trevor Dunn, the group tempers its raucous nature with brief moments of raw sweetness. Read my review of the band's second set from their Friday, July 17th show at the intimate Cornelia Street Café in Manhattan's Greenwich Village.
