Album Review: Gilad Hekselman's 'Hearts Wide Open'

In Gilad Hekselman's seven years of living in New York City, he's managed to play with some of the top names in jazz. On Hearts Wide Open, he asks a few of those musicians to join him, including Mark Turner, Joe Martin, and Marcus Gilmore. The result is a beautifully understated collection of original compositions that show why Hekselman is one of the leading new voices on guitar. Read my review.
