Experience:

Charlie Christenson is a jazz vocalist, pianist, composer, educator, and writer. He is currently the Performance Coordinator for the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Department, as well as an active performer in the New York City area. He has performed his music all over the country, including some of New York City's most well known jazz clubs, including Birdland, the Cornelia Street Cafe, and Cachaca.

Education:

Charlie is a graduate of Lawrence University where he received his B.M. in music education. He went on to earn a Master's degree at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music, where he studied vocal jazz performance. He has been coached by Kate McGarry, Peter Eldridge, and Theo Bleckman.
